Here are a few facts about our excellent schools, a place where test scores compare with the big districts, but where our children are individually known, not numbered:
- All of our schools have a satisfactory or better rating from the State of Oregon in all areas.
- All of our schools have full computer labs that serve all students.
- All of our schools have successful conflict resolution programs.
- All of our schools have strong community involvement and volunteerism in the schools.
Rogue River High School
Over half of the student body of 400 plan to attend college.
- The 2002 graduating class of 100 students received almost $300,000 in scholarship money.
- Over 70% of the student body is involved in clubs and athletics.
- Scores on the American Standards Math Test are the highest of any 3A high school in Oregon.
- The drop-out rate is one of the lowest in the state.
- The community donated approximately $1,000,000 in equipment, materials, time, money and labor to build state-of-the-art softball diamonds, a baseball field, a soccer field, a football field with lights and a stadium, and an 8-lane all-weather track at no cost to the District.
- We have ratings of Exceptional in School Characteristics and Strong in Student Behavior from the state.
Rogue River Middle School
- 48% of 300 Students are on the honor roll
- Over 1/3 of students participate in athletics.
- The Fall sports program received the league citizenship award for the 2000-01 school year.
- We have an Exceptional rating in School Characteristics from the state.
- Participates regionally in Brain Bowl, Scavenger Hunt, and Awesome.
Rogue River Elementary School
